DW World has heaps of learning resources, including multiple podcast series that can be downloaded for free. One of the better ones i think is Mission: Berlin

Leo is a fairly comprehensive German dictionary.

General news site

Slow German
German podcasts, for those that can actually understand some German, just not spoken at a million miles an hour. Slow German gives the beginners half a chance.
